It is hard to believe the 2005 Holiday Selling Season is behind us and as the new year approaches we look forward to 2006 with cautious optimism. It is no secret that many of us had slower than expected retail sales in our stores this Holiday Season and we can blame any combination of factors from the economy, loss of jobs, “Charms don’t sell like they use to” to competition from other stores and internet retailers - all contributing to softer sales in our stores. We share your concerns as to how we can boost sales and revenues in the coming months and years.
We want to assure you that at Casa D’Oro we have been working diligently to help provide some ideas and answers to help Casa D’Oro Modular Charms continue to be a viable and important part of your stores product mix. We encourage you to read this complete letter as we outline our companies marketing strategies for 2006.
* NEW HOURS OF OPERATION FOR CASA D”ORO Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM ESTFriday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ESTSaturday & Sunday Closed
* NEW CHARMS We will be introducing many new charms in a variety of categories including new charms in our current lineup of “Officially Licensed Charms”, Generic Charms and Specialty Categories. We will also be introducing a completely unique line of 9MM charms exclusive to Casa D’Oro that will feature designs never before on 9MM charms with absolutely breath taking designs style in a never before seen format called the Anastasia Collection. You will want to be the first Casa D’Oro Authorized retailer in your area to carry this line. Other new 9MM charms…

New “Officially Licensed” Bling Things™ will include Care Bears, SpongeBob, Betty Boop, Dora The Explorer, Major Colleges, Mary Engelbriet, Smiley Face and many others should start shipping around the second week of February 2006. We are also introducing a complete Alphabet (Letters) and Individual Assorted Color Stones (with adhesive backs).
* NEW UPDATED POSTER CATALOGJust in time for the new year, Casa D’Oro introduces an UPDATED Poster Catalog featuring all our current charms and other products. This great sale tool will be available around January 15th, 2006.
* DISCONTINUED CHARMSWithin the next few days and weeks we will be discontinuing the manufacturing and marketing of several of our “Officially Licensed” Charms as well as some of our older original charm designs. We will offer these charms at substantial discounts to clear our remaining inventory and allow you to stock up on these charms that will never be available on 9MM charms again. This inventory purging will allow us to add new and unique designs to our line. The following is a partial list of the “Officially Licensed” Charms we will discontinue as of 12/31/05. First we have lowered the minimum wholesale order amount from $200 to only $50. This will allow you to place quick fill or special orders for customers. We also have added the feature that will inform you when we are out of a style and approximately when we expect it to return to stock. And finally we would like to express our sincere appreciation for your support and continued loyalty to Casa D’Oro these past many years. Our Authorized Dealer Network is a source of pride for us and is the sole reason for our success. As you are aware many of the companies that jumped into the business to grab a quick buck by making and/or distributing inferior quality charms are no longer around. These charms would pop up in almost every type of retail store and of course it had an adverse affect on the sales of quality charms in legitimate retail stores like yours.
